Snake Avoidance Training

If your dog is a hunter, hiker, retriever, explorer, or too curious for its own good then give us a call (512) 353-1871 to sign up for our snake avoidance training! This is a very effective training tool for our dogs and with the season change snakes will be more active.

Winter Kennels will be here on Saturday, October 4th and the training will start at 12:00pm at our hospital in the side yard.

There will be a rattlesnake, water moccasin, and copperhead and the fee is $60 per type of snake per dog (you can do 1-3 snakes, whichever you want). If your dog has completed snake avoidance training with Winter Kennels before, then the refresher course is complimentary.

Dogs must be at least 4 months old, payment is taken as cash or check only, and the training is first-come first-serve beginning at 12pm.
