San Marcos - Pecan Park to Martindale (Spencer's Canoe)

Bring good sturdy water shoes or old sneakers (flip flops do not cut it) for rocky areas and portage (x1).
Bring water!
We are a SOCIAL group - this is not a speed paddle. We will do our best to hang out at some cool and/or shady spots along the way and RELAXING. Feel free to paddle ahead (if you know where you are going), but don't lag behind too far.

Approximate timing of things.

9am: Meet at Pecan Park Riverside RV Park ($5 for entry/launch even if you aren't parking here).
9:05-9:15am: Inflate boards and move equipment near the water.
9:15-9:30: Shuttle cars to Spencer's Canoe and Campground (this is the takeout - $5 per car for parking)
10am: Tally Ho and away we go!
Plan to be at Spencer's Canoe and Campground before 3-4pm for takeout.
