Slinky Thing returns to Art Boutiki on Saturday, August 23! Slinky Thing - Steely Dan Tribute is an eight-piece band that has been playing the music of Steely Dan and Donald Fagen to appreciative and enthusiastic 'Fans of the Dan' for over fifteen years. Band leader Bruce Linde says, “As great as these songs are to listen to, they’re even more fun to play... especially when everyone in the audience is singing along!" With five vocalists and an extensive catalog of the everyone's favorite Steely Dan and Donald Fagen songs, it is no wonder Slinky Thing has been called one of the best Steely Dan tribute bands in the world! Players include: Karla Downey (vocals, percussion), Bruce Linde (vocals, bass), Bill Sparks (sax), Reid Whatley (drums, vocals), Barry Finnerty (guitar, vocals), Brian Osborn (guitar), Neal Roston (keyboards, vocals), and John Pritchard (keyboards).
