This free annual event gathers people from the many paths of recovery to celebrate our common goal of freedom from addiction. We present a series of speakers with an optional $10 lunch, and additional information tables from recovery groups and organizations. We'll also be conducting a silent auction with proceeds benefiting Many Paths One Destination.

Mark Ludholm (San Jose, CA) 🗣🎤🤣
From humble beginnings on the streets of Oakland, California, as a homeless criminal, mental patient, to a world-renowned entertainer, Mark Lundholm’s humor is a wild ride of challenges, changes and 2nd chances. Just out of rehab, while performing a 20 Minute comedy routine at San Quentin State Prison, Mark discovered his childhood survival skill of making people laugh was his ticket out. Mark has performed in all 50 states and 10 foreign countries. From world-renowned musicians, heads of state, Fortune 500 companies to rehabilitation centers and convicted felons, Mark has truly entertained on the world’s stage. He’s appeared on Comedy Central, Showtime, A&E, CBS, and NBC. Mark wrote and performed his own one-man show off-Broadway in New York City reaching critical acclaim, and in his spare time created the video series ‘Humor in Treatment’ and the Recovery Board Game.
Shannon Rivers (Long Beach, CA) 🌄🌠🎤
Shannon Rivers is a member of the Akimel O’otham (River People) Nation. Shannon was born and raised on the Gila River Indian Community located in the southern state of Arizona. He is an Indigenous Peoples human rights activist speaking on Indigenous movements and the fight for the rights of Indigenous Peoples. Currently Shannon is a Native American spiritual leader and cultural advisor to the Indigenous inmate population in the state, federal, tribal, and private prisons in Arizona and California, and a Co-Chair for the Underserved Cultural Committee (UsCC) for the Dept. of Mental Health Los Angeles. Shannon received his BS from Northern Arizona University and his MA from the University of California, Los Angeles. Shannon will discuss the Native American recovery path of the Red Road to Wellbriety.
Sheana Ngaleo (Parisi House on the Hill) 👩👦🏠🏫
Sheana Ngaleo, also known as Shea, is a dedicated mother of two eight-year-olds and has achieved seven years of recovery from addiction. She is a proud graduate of Momentum for Health’s Parisis House on the Hill. Having transformed her life, Shea currently serves as a substance use clinician at Caminar while also interning for her SJCC Practicum at Parisi House on the Hill.
Mikey Shedroff (SCYPAA) 👧🤹🧘🏫
After getting sober at the age of 17, Mikey is now very involved in young people’s recovery organizations, currently works in treatment, and is continuing her education. Mikey will present what the young perspective of recovery looks like, and how young adults/minors in recovery find support and could be supported further.
