Ever wonder who writes those emergency alerts on your phone — and how? Join us for a one-of-a-kind interactive event where local alert specialists go head-to-head (and head-to-bot) to see who writes the clearest, fastest emergency message. Join emergency alert experts from the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management for a panel discussion followed by a live guessing game, where you vote on your favorite emergency message: AI, template, or human freestyle?
Join us Tuesday September 16th for a special interactive event where San Francisco’s AlertSF team will show you how emergency alerts are written in real time. Expert panel begins promptly at 7:30pm.
An interactive game will follow the panel, where audience members will play judge. You'll hear three emergency alerts written in response to a fictional crisis: one created using AI, one selected from a real emergency template, and one written freehand on the spot. Then you’ll guess which is which — and vote on your favorite.
Also check out other Business events in San Francisco, Arts events in San Francisco, Craft events in San Francisco.
