Bring a phone with (preferably wired) earbuds (you'll be dancing in them)!
-----
SF has many public indoor spaces that have good floor & good vibes, and so feel ripe for a crowd of people converging there to dance.
But it's often awkward to play music in those spaces (especially with enough volume to cover the crowd)
The answer is DIY silent disco!
This is a test pop-up in one of my favorite POPOS in SF - One Sansome Str (I did dance practices here on multiple occasions, no larger group things yet though).
Goals:
- Test tech setup
- Test how people at One Sansome feel about larger dance crowds.
As number of mentions of word "test" above might lead you to expect - things can go wrong here 😛.
- Our fallback plan is to walk several blocks (gasp) to our standard pirate location and keep dancing there.

Instructions (important!)
1. Bring a phone and (preferably wired) earbuds (you'll be dancing in them)
Your life would be easier if it's *wired* earbuds (that you can connect to your phone)
We should be able to figure out bluetooth earbuds too, but so far it seems like that'd require per-person setup
2. Install Snapcast App on your phone
Android:

iOS:

3. Bring some snacks to share!
4. Have fun!

Floor - smooth marble. I've been using my default suede shoes here, but any other dance shoes should work too.
Restroom: There is restroom in the building.
