Something Like Home: A Night for the Mixed & Multicultural

Mixed friends, third culture kids, and multicultural enigmas - this one’s for you! The concept of “home” can be quite foreign for people straddling multiple identities, but coming together with people who “get” you can feel something like home.

Interwoven has been cultivating community for mixed people for a year now, and it’s time to celebrate. Join us on October 18 for Mexican-Italian fusion food and drinks, connecting with fellow mixed humans, and learning more about the Interwoven community. Dinner and drinks are included with your ticket purchase!

This event may be for you if:

• Answering “where are you from?” is a complicated story
• You straddle identities amongst different cultural or racial groups that you’re a part of - there’s no one place you’re “from” or fit neatly into
• Words like mixed race, third culture kid, or multicultural resonate with you
• You’re looking for a community of people who are just as beautifully complex as you are, and who understand what it means to be from many places and peoples
