November Art Opening: Sofie at Manny's

Sofie has lived and worked in several art buildings, and her studio is currently in the SF Art Building in the art district.

Having traveled a great deal, she has absorbed many new
environments that have influenced her abstract paintings. She
creates art from vivid memories, depicting her interpretation and
investigation of the outer world, diffusing it with her inner world
ideas. Her paintings are modern in approach.

Her abstract art embodies hidden content. Each series speaks to
various philosophical approaches and investigations. Her abstract
art expresses a harmonious division of space, balance, and
dynamics between form and color. The idea in each painting is
expressed through its intricate color composition, either in an action
painting or a meditative, spontaneous approach.

Her mediums are oils, acrylics, and mixed media on canvas and watercolors.
