We, @hotelbironwinebar are honored and excited to have local artist @damonapowell debut his solo exhibit "Exploring The Chakras" at our wine bar.

There will be a raffle @ 8:30pm which includes a round of chambongs, wine, art from the artist, etc. All money from our raffle will go to our artist!

Damon Powell - Artist & Theologian

I am an artist and theologian who resides in Oakland, California. My visual artistry expresses itself through my experimentation with watercolor or acrylic paints, and a subtractive drawing medium called scratchboard.

Most of my imagery is inspired by my exploration of various sacred texts. epiphanies that are downloaded through my meditation practice, or my own efforts to comprehend the role and movement of Spirit within the context of my own lived experience.

I have chosen to share these insights through the use of vivid color, line, and symbol, It is my hope that you find my images to be inspiring, didactic, and iconic
