Bowling Green Drive, San Francisco, United States
Saturday, September 7 | Golden Gate Park | Donation-Based
Gong Grove is hosted by OurSpace, which is a creative, connection-centered collective co-founded by Erica Nguyen and Joseph Gabriel, who are based in San Francisco. Our offerings are rooted in mindfulness, movement, and sound. We bridge value-aligned facilitators and intentional spaces to support collective healing and growth.
Step into the heart of Golden Gate Park and immerse yourself in a powerful open-air sound experience like no other. On this special day, 4+ gong players will gather to play 6+ gongs, creating a lush forest of vibration, rhythm, and resonance.
Let yourself be bathed in waves of sound as gongs and nature, grounding, energizing, and renewing your entire being. We are a community of sound enthusiasts, excited to play and connect with you in the beautiful Aids Memorial Grove.
This donation-based event invites you to support a local nonprofit of your choice and share the name of the nonprofit you donated to as your entry! A local nonprofit we recommend is SFArtsEd - a local nonprofit that funds arts programs for youth. Come support sound, art, and community.
🌀 What to bring: Yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask, anything you need to be comfortable lying down outdoors.
🕊️ All are welcome – come as you are, stay as long as you’d like, and receive what you need.
