Celebrate “Oktoberfest on Front” with the Downtown SF Partnership

Join the Downtown SF Partnership (DSFP) on Friday September 19 as it celebrates the return of its second annual Oktoberfest on Front block party! This free all-day event allows attendees to enjoy food and drink specials from Front Street restaurants Schroeder’s Harrington’s Bar & Grill and Royal Exchange and live music from Ladyhosen and Pop Rocks. There will also be themed beer games axe throwing by Split the Wood pretzel toss costume contests and a 360-degree selfie station from Snap Fiesta. Oktoberfest on Front is an expanded version of Schroeder’s annual Oktoberfest block party welcoming thousands of people to celebrate and support local businesses. 

This year’s event marks one year since the first Entertainment Zone event in California was held showcasing downtown San Francisco’s ongoing entertainment renaissance. The Front Street Entertainment Zone has since hosted 27300 people across thirteen events. The zone is a blueprint for additional Entertainment Zones popping up in San Francisco and other California cities that are working to replicate Front Street’s success.  

Oktoberfest on Front is a smoke-free event sponsored by the Office of Mayor Daniel Lurie the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development and BXP.
