Berkelium String Quartet

This new string quartet will perform a concert titled “The Bow and the Brush,” a mixed-media performance with music with curated paintings projected behind the performers. Formed in 2024, Berkelium members perform with San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet, New Century Chamber Orchestra, and the Oakland Symphony. Berkelium members have performed in solo and chamber ensembles across the US and Europe, premiering hundreds of new works.

Performers are Dan Flanagan, violin; Karen Shinozaki Sor, violin; Jacob Hansen-Joseph, viola; and Michael Graham, cello.
