Father of Texas - FREE Admission!

Join us for our annual FREE Father of Texas event!

Since the 1930s, San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site and the city of San Felipe have been celebrating the birthday of our founder, Stephen F. Austin. Join us as we continue this annual celebration!

Hands-on activities, reenactors, historic skill demonstrations, and more will all be available and appropriate for the whole family! Admission is free and activities begin at 9am.
