About Studio Sessions.

Studio Sessions is a project launched in 2023 by Future Is Color® as a tangable extension of the mission to create space for conversation and dialogue around collective liberation. What started with a weekly jazz night inside our 2060 Logan Studio space has grown into an ecosystem of community programs and experiences.

MCASD x Lambda Archives Activation

Join Lambda Archives at MCASD’s Jazz night as we celebrate art, culture, and history for San Diego Pride month! We’ll have crafts, local history t-shirts & posters, and will be showing our "Writing as Resistance: A Celebration of Queer Literature" exhibit banners, along with other art from our collection. Stop by to explore, create, and connect with San Diego's LGBTQ+ history."

About RIVA

RIVA is a saxophonist and composer, known to juxtapose the jazz idiom with modern beat culture, techno, house, disco, and just about anything that makes the heart pump a bit faster. He performs with a sextet that is invested in engaging in sonic conversation to find new lanes of expression, adjacent to the foundations they studied to elevate a high energy, fully improvisational danceable electronic jazz show.

The mission of the Lambda Archives of San Diego is to collect, preserve, and share the history of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people in San Diego, Northern Baja California and the Imperial County region.
