Stamp Carving and Print Making Workshop: Autumn Harvest Prints

Join us at San Diego's Cowork + Connect for this beginner-friendly linocut printmaking workshop! In this two-hour class, you’ll learn the art of block printing by carving your own custom 5"x7" stamp and pressing it onto paper. Don’t fret about your drawing level – there will be a flash sheet of pre-drawn designs for you to choose from! The designs will be a collection of seasonal florals, leaves, and fall-inspired patterns. No experience necessary (we are a beginner-friendly art class!)

Here's what you can expect:

• Carve your very own 5"x7" linocut stamp (pre-drawn designs provided). You’ll take the stamp home to keep forever!
• Paper to print on: Take home your own original prints!
• Optional: You can bring any items you would like to print on (i.e., t-shirts, tote bags, towels, any fabric, etc.)
• Refreshments and materials will be provided.

About the teacher:

Olivia is an artist based in San Diego with a focus on working with linoleum-cut prints, which she turned to during the pandemic shortly after her move to California. She began selling her prints at local markets & pop-up events in 2022, and teaching beginner linocut workshops in 2023. The meditative & hands-on nature of the work offers a valuable refuge for the mind during turbulent times – even for those who wouldn’t consider themselves “artistic.” Olivia is a big believer that everyone has an inherent creativity inside of them, and the way to reach it is carving away little by little – just like a linocut print.

Cowork + Connect is a collaborative workspace located in Hillcrest, ideal for remote workers, start-ups, and event coordinators.
