MCHS Cheer Clinic 2025 - TWO DAY EVENT!
Come join us for an exciting cheer clinic at Mt. Carmel High School! Get ready to learn some awesome cheer moves and have a blast with our talented coaches. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned cheerleader, this clinic is for you. Mark your calendars and get ready to cheer your heart out at Mt Carmel Cheer Clinic 2025! This is a TWO-DAY commitment. The event will take place at 9550 Carmel Mountain Road, San Diego, CA, USA.
Who: This event is open for K-8th graders
Day 1: Wednesday, August 27th- 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Cheer Clinic attendees will get ready for game day by learning MC cheers and a halftime routine. Please bring water and a snack.
Day 2: Friday, August 29th - 4:00 p.m. - end of halftime (~8:30 p.m.) Cheer Clinic attendees will review their cheers and halftime routine that were taught on Wednesday practice. During the Varsity game attendees will perform during 1st and/or 2nd quarters, as well as during the halftime routine. Pizza dinner and dessert will be provided.
*If your child has food allergies, you can send something with them to eat.
Details:
All participants can arrive at MCHS at 4:00pm, on Wednesday, August 27th and Friday, August 29th. Please be aware that MCHS is dismissed at 3:35 and there is potential for traffic upon entering and exiting the school parking lot.
We will have a check-in table at the front of the school and cheer clinic attendees will be escorted to S-11 by a varsity cheerleader.
At check in, please provide us with the name of the adult that will be picking up your cheerleader on both days. On Day 1- attendees should be picked up in front of the school. On Day 2- Checkout will be to the right side of the field (facing field). It is important that we know who is picking up your child after the half-time performance and have their contact information!
On Friday, the football game begins at 7:15pm at Sundevil Stadium (MCHS). Cheer Clinic participants will cheer with the Mt. Carmel Varsity Cheer team during first & second quarter and perform at half-time. The half-time show should be at ~7:45pm and as soon as it is over you will need to pick up your child (~830pm).
Cost: $75/Participant (K-8th grade) + eventbrite processing fees
Price includes: Two-Day Cheer clinic, a Sundevil Cheer Clinic T-shirt, Cheer Bow, Dinner & Dessert, 1st and/or 2nd quarter cheering and a Halftime Performance with our Varsity Cheer team!
REGISTER DEADLINE: This event will sell out quickly! Registration for this event will close on August 20, 2025 or when it sells out, whichever comes first. Space is very limited. We will have a waitlist and if you selected to add your child to the waitlist, you will be notified if space becomes available.
Note - Cheer Clinic cost does NOT include ticket to game for parents. Game tickets can be purchased online or at the stadium (cash only).
The stadium is expected to be full that night so we highly recommend arriving early to assure you get the best view of your child and parking!
*On game day, please send your children with the following:
-Please tie their hair in a ponytail (cheerleaders will help them with their bows)
-Have them wear black leggings or black shorts
-A tank top/shirt is required. (They will be changing into the clinic shirts before the game) .
NO BAGS /Water Bottles - please do not drop off your child with any bags. We will provide plenty of water!
Please bring the signed waiver on Wednesday, August 27th.
