Jazz 88 Studio Sessions feat. the Jonathan Cohen Trio

Jazz 88.3 FM (KSDS), the award-winning jazz station located at San Diego City College, proudly presents a special live-streamed performance by the Jonathan Cohen Trio on Thursday, October 30. From 7:00 to 8:00 PM in the City College Recording Studio, pianist Jonathan Cohen and his trio will deliver an evening of soulful swing, inventive improvisation, and modern jazz originals to listeners tuning in locally and online.

This exclusive concert marks the kickoff of the Jazz 88 Studio Sessions, a new live performance series produced by the San Diego City College Commercial Music Program. Students and faculty from the program are leading production, recording, and marketing efforts, giving audiences a professional-quality live-stream experience while providing hands-on training for the next generation of music and media professionals. The event will be broadcast live from the San Diego City College Recording Studio and streamed worldwide as a fundraiser to support KSDS Jazz 88, San Diego’s only full-time jazz radio station.
