Ecstatic Dance San Diego returns THIS Friday, October 17th to Point Loma with Chaya Kornreich opening us up with Shamanic Fusion Dance followed by Ecstatic Dance set by San Diego based DJ and music producer Flo-Pilot
Ecstatic Dance is a community movement, a sacred space for you to explore, unwind and unfold your true expression.
Come be held by the dance floor, the music and the community, connect non-verbally with yourself and others and tap into the magic of this liberating movement space.

Shamanic Fusion Dance

Shamanic Fusion Dance (created by Anandha Ray/2000) is a practice that utilizes the joy of movement to awaken the body’s natural connections to perfect technique. Unlock physical blocks and transform emotions into absolute confidence in this non-stop, athletic class, where you can learn techniques for mastering the performance of Intuitive Ritual Dance.
This form of movement develops neurological connections to unlock pure dance technique in motion. It also unblocks fears that sabotage one's ability to go full out in athletic risk.
Dancers trained through this method attain the highest levels of mastery in technique, risk taking, and emotional expression.
Chaya is a legally ordained priestess, wisdom teacher, retreat facilitator, ceremonialist, Ritual Dance performer, aerialist, dance and aerial teacher. She has served communities across the globe for several years, opening the path to healing and artistic expression by leading therapeutic movement, serpent activations, ritual and ceremony.
She finds joy in encouraging people to discover, blossom and grow into the best of their abilities.
Carrying the medicine of serpent, plant and movement, along with decades of cross-cultural experiences, Chaya supports diverse communities to traverse both the seen and unseen, to organically weave their gifts into an ever evolving world.
Ecstatic Dance Journey

Flo-Pilot is a DJ and music producer based in San Diego. He is known for taking the audience on a journey through a genre fluid experience filled with high energy dance vibes and nostalgic moments bringing the crowd to emotionally cathartic experiences on the dance floor.
He loves working off of the energy of the crowd.
As Co-Pilots on his journey, the crowd will soar to places unexpected by dancer and DJ alike.

Ecstatic Dance Guidelines
1. Move however you wish
2. No talking on the dance floor
3. Respect yourself and one another
4. No Shoes, No Booze
5. Please also refrain from photos, videos, strong scents/perfumes, glitter and shoes on the dance floor.
6. Touch is Sacred ~ Many people dance in their own space, and others share their space with another. To engage in a dance with someone, use sensitivity: Are they open to sharing their space with me? Mirror movements, offer a hand, brush by, make eye contact, and see & feel how they respond.
