About the Show
Set against the windswept backdrop of the Mojave Desert, Bailey Drake is a new play by Mark Whicker that explores survival, connection, and resilience in the middle of nowhere.
Bailey Drake runs a worn-down convenience store off I-15—somewhere between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Life out here is dusty, unpredictable, and filled with eccentric locals and lost travelers. When her estranged brother returns with baggage in tow, Bailey must reckon with her past and decide whether she’s running from something—or toward it.
Told with humor, grit, and heart, Bailey Drake is a sharp and soulful story about finding purpose in a place that time forgot.
