3rd Annual Chicanx/Latinx Educator Network Convivio

Join us for the 3rd Annual Chicanx/Latinx Educator Network, a regional gathering of higher education professionals, employers, and community partners. This year’s event will feature a career & education panel, an employer/resource fair, and networking opportunities.

Food will be provided for all registered attendees, first come, first served.

It is geared towards educators and those interested in making regional connections in the education field and learning from our panelists' educational and professional journeys.

This event is part of Chicanx/Latinx Heritage month, and is open to ALL! It is geared towards educators and those interested in making regional connections in the education field and learning from our panelists' educational and professional journeys. Our esteemed panelists are:

• Dra. Marissa Vasquez - Associate Director, Community College Equity Assessment Lab (CCEAL) and Department Chair, Department of Administration, Rehabilitation, & Postsecondary Education at San Diego State University
• Agustin Orozco - most recently Dean of Counseling, current doctoral student, SDSU CCLEAD (Ed.D)
• Dra. Guadalupe Corona - Vice Chair, COLEGAS and Director of Student Equity at Southwestern College
• Dra. Viridiana Diaz - Vice President of Student Affairs at CSU San Marcos

Confirmed for the employment/opportunity fair: San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD), San Diego Community College District (SDCCD), Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District (GCCCD), Southwestern Community College District (SWCCD), COLEGAS, and the Ed.D program at SDSU (CCLEAD).
