Kid's Craft Drop In- Texas Archaeology Month Edition

When archaeologist excavated at Mission Dolores State Historic Site they uncovered thousands of ceramic sherds. Most were made by the Indigenous Caddo people while others came from Spain, France, and even China. The people of Mission Dolores used pottery for cooking, eating, and storing food. It played a critical roll in everyday life.

Join us on October 18th from 10-12 to make your own pinch pot. This is a free event and reservations are not required. Intended for ages 5-12, but all are welcome to participate.
