Stringman (Don Stephens) has been playing electric and acoustic guitar, piano, bass pedals and harmonica professionally for over 40 years. He began his music career playing coffee houses and clubs in Indiana in the mid-'70s. His sound is heavily influenced by the rock and blues bands and folk artists of that time.
When playing his electric numbers, Don uses several instruments simultaneously, i.e., vocals, harmonica, bass pedals, guitar, and electronic drums to sound like a 3-piece rock and blues power trio. In addition, his acoustic portion of the show includes songs on acoustic guitar, guitjo, pump organ, harmonica, and piano.
Stringman is among the top of the list of prolific songwriters with over 20 plus albums written and recorded to date, and an equal number of unrecorded songs that continue to pile up… Stringman’s albums are available on all online streaming services under artist names “Stringman Delivery”, “Don Stephens Stringman Delivery”, and “Don Stephens”. His music is heard worldwide to positive reviews.
