Seed Saving Workshop

Who: all plant-curious people are invited

What: learn how to save seeds and propagate new plants in a hands-on workshop led by an expert

Why: to encourage green practices and learn about our church yard project

Come learn from master naturalist and native plant expert Nicki Apostolow. A nature educator for over 20 years, with a degree in Park Management and a Masters in Education, she is the Director of Wild at Heart, and the Project Manager of Butterfly Learning Center. She will show us how to gather, save, and propagate seeds from plants at the end of their season.

Admission is free, but for a suggested donation of $5, you can take home your own newly-planted seeds in a temporary pot with high-quality soil. Pots and soil have been donated by Casa Verde Farms.
