Family Birding: Intro to Migration

Join us for a fun and interactive family program where we’ll explore the amazing journeys of migrating birds!

Using real-time maps from BirdCast, we’ll peek into the nighttime skies to see how millions of birds travel across the continent. Kids and their families will flap their wings, land in “stopover habitats,” and face migration challenges in a lively hula hoop game that brings the migration story to life. Together, we’ll learn how we can help birds on their travels—from turning off lights at night to creating bird-friendly backyards.

Perfect for elementary-aged children and curious parents alike.
