Join us for an evening with artist, writer, and scholar Dr. Bettina Judd, as she reads from her powerful book, "Feelin': Creative Practice, Pleasure, and Black Feminist Thought".
Dr. Judd will read from her book and discuss how Black women artists create and share knowledge through sensation—a process that is deeply personal, entangled with pleasure, pain, anger, and joy. For these artists, the creation of the work itself becomes the meaning.
This is a unique opportunity to engage with Dr. Judd's groundbreaking work. The event is free and open to the public.
Presented in partnership with University of Texas at San Antonio Arts Department and Gemini Ink.
