Brothers Grimm Unit Study-8 Spots Open

This class is once a month, on a Thursdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm, all school year long. It's for girls and boys of all ages, 3 and up! The Class List with names/genders/ages of students registered up for these classes are found at the bottom of the event's description.

A Unit Study is a type of curriculum that organizes all subjects around one topic. In this case, it's a unit study about the many fairy tale stories that the Grimm Brother's wrote.

We'll be reading a chapter each class, using the Mina Lima illustrated Snow White and Other Grimm Fairy Tales interactive elements version. It's so gorgeous! However, there is no need to purchase the book.

We will be making a recipe out of The Brothers Grimm Cookbook each class! From Wishing Fish & French Fries to Little Red -Cap's Sausage Brunch, this cookbook will take us on a magical journey that will surely not disappoint!

Lastly, we will be making a craft relating to each story. If you like fairy tales, making recipes, doing fun crafts, join us in this fun! We'd love to see you and make new friends!

• Recipe: Gretel's Spicy Crab Curry (Won't be too spicy)
• Craft: Gingerbread House Papercraft

Cost: $20 per student for this class.

• Story: The Valiant Little Tailor
• Recipe: The Valiant Tailor's Whirly Sausage Rolls
• Craft: “7-In-One” Game

*Invoices will be sent out round the 15th of each month that will be due on the first of each month. It's assumed that you'd like to continue each month unless you let us know that you no longer will. No judgements, just let us know ASAP as there may be a waiting list for the class.

We'll be outside under a huge pavilion so prepare yourself for the day's weather. Bring enough water, bug spray, personal battery operated fans, cool clothing, etc. We meet in the rain as the pavilion is huge and we stay dry.
