Whales in North Carolina: Dive into Conservation and Education Conference

Join staff from Sound to Sea and the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort for this unique opportunity to learn about the whales found right off our coast. This conference will offer you a combination of workshops, presentations, and outdoor activities to understand whales from the inside out.

If you are working on your North Carolina Environmental Education Certification with the N.C. Office of Environmental Education and Public Affairs the full conference can be used for 7 hours of Criteria II, III, or CE. In addition, The Bonehenge Whale Center Tour can be used as an Eastern Site Visit or one additional hour of CE.
