War in the Land of Iron

Join us for a day of wargaming at Land of Iron! Participate in thematic games inspired by the conflicts that shaped Yorkshire. Experienced game runners will lead you through local battles big and small, or if you fancy brushing up on your creative skills you can join our Painting Workshop – perfect for painters of any age!

Whether you’re recreating the Battle of Dogger Bank or leading Viking raids through Cleveland, there’s bound to be something for everyone!

Full day tickets are available online. For individual games, pay on the day.

Adults: £10 day ticket. £2 per game
Under 18s: £5 day ticket. £1 per game

Day plan:
9:30 doors open
10:00 – 11:15 game 1
11:15 – 12:30 game 2
12:30 – 13:00 lunch
13:00 – 14:15 game 3
14:15 – 15:30 game 4
15:30 – 16:45 game 5

Drinks and snacks can be purchased from Land of Iron. You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch. Food is also available from Kaskane Cafe Bar, on the other side of the car park from Land of Iron.
