A38 Speed Limit Change

NEW 30MPH SPEED LIMIT – A38 through Landrake & Tideford 🚨
Effective from Tuesday, 20th August

National Highways are reducing the speed limit on the A38 through the villages of Landrake and Tideford from 40mph to 30mph to improve safety for local residents — a change long supported by the Safe38 campaign.

🛑 What's changing?

The new 30mph limit covers the same area as the current 40mph zone.

Fixed speed cameras are being installed in both villages.

New signs and 30mph road markings (roundels) will appear in the coming weeks.

Sat navs may take time to update — please don’t rely on them for current speed limits.
