Join us as we turn The Wheel of the Year with our annual Samhain Ritual.
We gather to honour our Beloved Dead and celebrate the birth of babies that have been born.
We do this to celebrate the cycles of life, death and regeneration.
In the spirit of honouring ancestors and the land, we’d like to acknowledge that this event is taking place on the unceded territories of the Hul’qumi’num and SENCOTEN speaking peoples. We offer our gratitude to the ancestors of this place, and to those who continue to tend to and continue to keep this land and its cultures and communities alive.
Let us come together in song, ritual, and community to bless our beloveds. You can add names of anyone who has died this last year, and names of those who have been born here in this document:

ACCESSIBILITY INFO:
If you have any symptoms of cold, flu, or COVID, please stay home, and take good care of yourself.
TO BRING:
- An ancestral meal to share for our community potluck after the ritual which will end approximately 6:00pm. Or a beverage to share (non-alcoholic)
- Bring photos of your beloved dead, your ancestors, and babies born this year. There will be altars available for you to place your items.
- You are also welcome to bring fabric, mementos, or other items for altars dedicated to the elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Centre.
- Dress in high ritual garb, or common clothes. Basically, come as you are. (Though we find the Ancestors tend to love dress up!)
KIDS:
- This is a family-friendly event. However, keep in mind there is a quiet, meditative aspect of the ritual where people will be communing with their ancestors. Little kids often find it difficult to sit through, and elders find it difficult to hear the speakers in the ritual over children's voices. Please determine for yourself and your family if it's the right fit to bring little ones.
