Tended by:

🌿 Sequoia Lesosky

Following his cry for village, Sequoia has become an embodied specimen of a human devoted to be in service to the collective health. His gifts work like the fungi, sometimes unseen, but connecting people to vital nutrients that keeps them thriving. Humble as fungi, he loves to support others in finding their authentic roars and cries. He brings deep love, care and harvestable dedication to ritual and community containers.

✨ Christopher Isa Muscat

Weaving the interstitial threads of poetry, ecology and ceremonial life, Chris aspires to offer eloquence to our broken language and the importance of the soul. Through tending, remembering and feeding sacredness. He advocates willingly for the animate, the tempered heart and grief as the holiest of companions. You might catch him laughing like a coyote or watching the mystery of life like a hawk, whispering Blessed are the things that go from us.

💗 Amber Friedman

A wild gypsy spirit making her way through the hearts of those in the qathet region and the surrounding islands. Amber is a mother, an artist and she works with plants to create magic healing potions. Passionate about educating the nation on the lost arts of; natural dyes, plant medicine and community building. Her heart has been called to tending to those who walk with grief, and supporting them on their journey. www.wildspiritapothecary.ca

🪶 Trevor Mervyn

Trevor is a ritualist, storyteller, and wilderness fast guide based in the qathet region of BC. "My passionate curiosity around the
intersection between ritual, myth, initiation, grief, reverence, and nature has laid claim to me. I believe in the sacredness of mystery, and the deep wisdom of the more-than-human-world. I believe in the night." www.sacredgestures.com

💫 Max Baron-Veale

Max is currently several years into a ritual apprenticeship that has had him tilling the soil of cultural necessities needed by human and other-than-human life to co-exist and mutually thrive. His passions include authenticity, uncovering a cosmology to hold all things, and a gentle approach to the ‘being yourself’ school of hardknocks.

🐚 Amber-lee Bartlett

Amber came to this work through her own journey with profound loss and grief. She understands healing to be an initiation out of exile into our wild gifts, through relationship with community, the ancestors, the earth, and the Otherworld. She believes that our imagination and creativity are sacred tools that bridge us to the unseen. Her gift is creating art, meaning and beauty out of shattered circumstances, and pouring love and understanding into the most shamed, isolated, wounded parts that we carry with us. As a midwife she walks the tightrope between joy and sorrow, and life and death, with deep accountability and care for those who she walks alongside.
