A Night of Poetic Creation, Post Magic & Performance Alchemy with Special Artistic Guest Madazon-CanCan
📬 Our featured guest artist, Madazon-CanCan, has created a limited series of hand-crafted postcards, each adorned with an original poem. As you share your story—be it through music, movement, poetry, painting, or any blend of expressive magic—Madazon will match your piece with one of these poetic missives. Think of it as literary alchemy: a custom poem sent to your soul, by post.
💌 Mid-show intermission becomes a ritual of anonymous uplift. Thanks to our returning sponsor, Bell Book & Candle, you’ll have the chance to write a heartfelt holiday-themed postcard for a stranger in the room. We'll shuffle and swap them randomly—tiny paper miracles of kindness flying from one heart to another.
Then, just before we start the second round, we'll have a guest storyteller in Tiki Steve, followed by a ceremonial Wild Rumpus.
This isn’t just an open mic.
It’s a correspondence between artists.
A night of poetic echoes, handwritten joy, and shared intimacy.
A room of strangers becoming pen pals in spirit.
🌙 Dress Code: Mailroom whimsy? Cozy creativity? Think scarves, stamps, vintage postal vibes, or whatever keeps you warm and expressive.
🎭 Audience Favorites: After each half, the audience will vote for the piece that moved them most—through laughter, thought, or tenderness.
