Get registered for the USA Karate-sanctioned Referee/Judge Certification Seminar from 6:00 pm - 9 pm, on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the Horizonte Instruction and Training Center, 1234 South Main St. (4th Floor Library), Salt Lake City, UT 84101. Hosted by Sensei Amadou Niang and in conjunction with the USA Karate-sanctioned tournament, 20th IMA Championship, the following day, October 25th, at Northwest Recreation Center, 2255 W. Clark Ave, SLC, UT.
In addition to certification, auditing the course is allowed. ALL registrations must be done via www.usankf.org/sanctioned-events/seminars or via www.tournametninabox.com . Same with Audits.
Participants for certification must be USA Karate members with SafeSport and background check. The latter two items are for those 18 y/o and over. If not already a member, or to follow-up on SafeSport and background check please go to:

The seminar is open to all Referee/Judge/Coach/athlete/parents to familiarize themselves with USA Karate rules and their application. Athletes volunteering to participate in the seminar practical portion, and USA Karate Referee A and above, the audit fee is an optional contribution to USA Karate. All fees are processed through USA Karate to help fund programs.
