Lindsay Hester aka DJ LoO HoO started her DJ journey in the Salt Lake City EDM underground scene and Ecstatic Dance community in the summer of 2020. As an EDM Open Format DJ, she has the ability to mix a wide variety of genres, but her first love is any type of Bass with a Funky flair! She loves taking dancers through a journey that releases emotions, encourages inner-child playfulness, and heals through movement. For this set, she will be exploring the evolution of Funk with EDM inspired by the blues, soul, hip hop, glitch, blue grass, rock, disco, big band swing, and jazz.
Since her start in 2020, LoO HoO has played at SKY, Urban Lounge, The Gateway, The Krishna Temple, The Clubhouse, Boomerang's, Shades Brewing, Plumhouse, Jaguar Occult silent discos, many private parties, high school dances, and EDM weddings. She has opened for big name artists such as Jessica Audifred, Manic Focus, Sultan + Shepard, ill.Gates, Defunk, and Beat Kitty. She has also performed at several local festivals including Paradigm, Electric Pow Wow, Hidden Oasis, Revival, Incandescence, Camp KnowName, ILLUMINATE, Evolution, and the SLC WHITE PARTY.
LoO HoO is the founder and promoter of L.O.T.U.S. "Ladies of the Underground Series" for thr past four years, empowering female DJs, flow artists, dancers, painters, and vendors in the local scene. She was also the Co-Founder and Director of "Kidz Kreation Day" for two years, inspiring parents and children to cultivate their talents and healing through connection in the alternative arts. She has recently started giving DJ lessons and is excited for her new journey as a mentor for aspiring DJs.

Community Guidelines:
- Move however you wish, while respecting the space of those around you
- No talking on the dance floor, there is plenty of space in the temple for conversation
- We ask that you refrain from use of cell phones, photos, video, & strong scents during the dance

- Our dance is built on consent. It’s important to get a non-verbal invitation to dance with a partner, and we ask that you maintain that level of respect during and after the dance ends.
