Opening reception for Dead or Alive, by Carson Cahoon. Exhibit runs from October 9–November 22 in the Main Library's Lower Urban Room.

Artist's Statement:

What may seem to be incomplete is significant to the whole. Each landscape is defined by perception rather than by function. Layering unrecognizable textures and upcycled debris allows for world-building dialogues.

Artist's Bio:

Carson Cahoon is a mixed media designer born & raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Using their studies in architecture and urban ecology, they do not restrict the scale of their work. Through interior designs, abstract landscapes, and symbiotic tech, their world is pieced together one relic at a time.
