There will be tutus and Tchaikovsky, magic and mystery – necessary ingredients for all Nutcrackers. However, this one-of-a-kind production will also feature beavers fighting fur trappers, dancing wapato plants, and Oregon Trail children arriving via covered wagon as local Fort Vancouver history is weaved into the plot of a classic ballet.
Experience the wonder of the holidays with a Northwest twist! This imaginative retelling celebrates our region’s history while keeping the timeless beauty of The Nutcracker alive. Bring the whole family for an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and local storytelling!

With lower music volume, some light left on the audience, buffer seats, and a shush-free environment, this show is designed for anyone with sensory concerns and people of all ages. Audience members are welcome to enter and exit the auditorium as needed and absolute silence is not a requirement.
