🎶 The Grapes Of Wrath in Concert in Salmon Arm🎶
There was a time in Canada, in the late eighties and nineties, when nearly every teenager and twenty-something left for school or work in their cars and hit play on a Grapes of Wrath cassette tape. Hit songs like Peace of Mind, Backward Town and All the Things I Wasn’t captured an era for many, and led these young Kelowna musicians to sold out shows at home and abroad as well as gold and platinum sales.
The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society is thrilled to announce that bandmates Tom Hooper and Kevin Kane will perform a special acoustic set at Song Sparrow Hall on Friday, November 7.
These two Grapes of Wrath originals look forward to the intimate and unplugged setting at Song Sparrow Hall, and the chance to tell the stories behind the songs and put the focus on the harmonies and melodies of their timeless music.
