Come join the Rowan County Beekeepers Association for our October meeting.
**Please note new meeting location at the former Salisbury mall - see bottom of post for details**
Our guest speaker this month is Mark Case.
Mark Case is a Master Beekeeper with the North Carolina State Beekeeping Association. He operates between 20-40 hives each summer to produce honey. Annually he removes between 20 and 60 hives from structures each year with common cut out methods and a few techniques he developed. In his spare time (if beekeepers can have any!) he enjoys organizing honey shows for clubs.
Mark currently serves Guilford County Schools as a high school science teacher and lives in Randolph County
He will be presenting on Trap-outs, Cut-outs, and Force-outs
Guests are welcome.
**Please note that this and all future meetings will be held in the new location at Rowan County Events Center located in the former Salisbury mall - 1965 Jake Alexander Blvd. **
There are two roundabouts at the facilities. One leads directly to our office, while the other directs you to the event center. If you see a flag post, you are at the wrong roundabout for the meeting. Please go to the roundabout with the overhang. There will be a sign in the parking lot and on the doors to indicate that you are in the correct location.
For this meeting, once you enter the building, take an immediate right and follow the hallway around the circle until you get to the Oak/Pine room.
