Heroes on the Water Event @Newland Pond Salisbury MD

This event will be at a private pond, Newland Park in Salisbury, MD. This event is open to Military (active & Reserve) Veterans, First Responders and their Families. This location is fantastic and always big hit. Great fishing. We hope to see you there and help the Veterans and 1st responders get some fish in the boat!

*RAIN DATE WILL BE SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 8th , 2024

Volunteers/Guides should have their kayaks organized by the water and ready by 7:00 AM.

Veterans /First Responder Participants and Family Members should arrive at 7:30 AM. Event leads: Rudy Yarworth for the Tangier Chapter

Lunch will Be Provided - We Usually Break for Lunch around 11:30 AM *Provided by Mission BBQ Salisbury MD

Weather Considerations: Events rare rain or shine, dress appropriately for weather. We recommend you bring rain gear in case it rains. You will be notified if the event is cancelled or rescheduled for any reason.

You may get wet during the outings. Its always a good idea to pack extra dry clothes for the way home.
