Felted Mushrooms

Create a charming set of felted wool mushrooms while learning the craft of felting itself. The workshop begins with a short educational overview of how felting works—why wool fibers bind together, the difference between wet felting and needle felting, and how felting has been used historically for both practical and decorative items.

Participants will then learn basic needle-felting techniques such as shaping, layering, firming, and detailing wool fibers while creating realistic or whimsical mushrooms to take home. All materials are provided. No prior experience needed.
