BDAC VE Day 80

BDAC VE DAY 80 EVENT!
The BDAC can confirm a special VE Day 80 event is to take place at our Museum on Sunday 4th May 2025, 10:00-16:00hrs. It will be celebrating the end of the Second World War in Europe, along with remembering those from the local area who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

This event is hosting numerous wonderful local groups, including:-

Wiltshire Caledonian Pipes and Drums
Wessex Archaeology
Royal Air Force Survival Equipment - squipper Association Parachute Packing
Round Canopy Parachuting Team - Great Britain
Fighting Wyverns - 4th Battalion The Wiltshire Regiment in WW2

And many more!

We will also be hosting the wonderful Marc Heighway for an afternoon lecture talk on the history of RAF Beaulieu, and the important role the station played in the Second World War.
