Join author Jim Norton as he discusses his new book, Murder at Matfield Green.

Murder at Matfield Green tells the powerful story of Trooper Conroy O’Brien, a dedicated young officer whose life was cut short during a deadly traffic stop with ruthless criminals. This book uncovers the man behind the badge, the desperate men who killed him, and the dramatic pursuit of justice that followed. More than just a true crime story, it reveals the lasting shockwaves of O’Brien’s murder—felt by his family, fellow troopers, and the community he served.

Jim Norton retired from law enforcement after a twenty-nine-year career. Twenty-six years were spent with the Salina Police Department. He retired as a Captain of the Patrol Division. He owns Gold Badge Writing and has been writing full time for four years. He has three other books published, The Way It Was, The Way it Was, Volume two, Ivey, Badge 44.
