Work in health and social care: Northern Care Alliance workshops

For Salford residents only.

These free taster sessions are perfect for individuals with some experience in health and social care, as well as those new to the sector who are keen to upskill and discover new career pathways. Participants will gain valuable, hands-on experience and insight into the roles of Clinical Support Worker and Healthcare Assistant, with practical demonstrations and guided exercises covering key responsibilities such as catheter care, patient handling, feeding, and other essential daily tasks.

In some cases, attending a session may lead to an interview for upcoming roles - making this an excellent opportunity to take the next step toward a fulfilling career in health and social care.
