It’s time again to shine the spotlight on true street cars in northeast Ohio! We are going back to the roots of old-school street racing! So with that being said, I present to you the “Stop Light Street Car Shootout v4” presented by Big 3 Racing, RN Performance, J Star Fabrication and .501 Perfect Converter Company! Being hosted at the beautiful Quaker City Motorsports Park in Salem,Ohio!
Each car will be teched in and have to pass a variety of standard DOT requirements before setting off on a 30-mile cruise around the track to prove they are a proper street car. When the vehicles come back to the track, they will come up to the lanes and race 1/8th mile heads up, right off a traffic light. 🚦The track will be scraped up, tearing up the surface to the 60ft to give the feel of a true street race!

Driver’s Meeting/Chip Draw at 5 p.m!

The classes are as follows:
Street Gangster:
$25 Tech Card + $100 Buy in / 100% Pay out.
- PYOP (Pour your own puddle) traction compound only, absolutely no water! If you are found using water, you will be disqualified! NO EXCEPTIONS!
- 15” wheels DOT Approved Single pair of 28x10.5 or 275 radial.
- 17" or Bigger wheels we will allow any size. But still has to be DOT approved.
- Factory appearing interior: carpet, dash, trim panels, minimum of two seats that are securely fastened to the floor. (Aftermarket seats such as kirkeys are permitted.) Rear Seat Deletes are permitted.
- All steel, all glass, with exception of hood, (Factory Fiber Glass, such as GM F Body and Corvette are permitted , but must be of factory origin. No aftermarket/lightweight doors, front end, ect.) Optic Armor is allowed. Trucks with plexiglass rear windows for roll cages are permitted.
- Factory Firewall
- Factory Wheel Base
- Factory style suspension (No 4 Link/Ladder Bar. Relocated shocks for tire clearance are allowed.)
- Functioning headlights, taillights, and turn signals
- Registration and insurance.
- 30 mile drive, no refueling until after 1st round.
Re-icing intercoolers, putting nitrous bottles on heaters, changing shock settings and adjusting tire pressure will be permitted.
- No ballast mounted outside of body lines
- RWD and FWD Only, No AWD
- No Wheelie Bars
- Helmets are absolutely required and racing suits are highly encouraged!
Gangster H Pattern:
$25 Tech Card + $100 Buy In/ 100% pay out
- PYOP (Pour your own puddle) traction compound only, absolutely no water! If you are found using water, you will be disqualified! NO EXCEPTIONS!
- H Pattern only manual transmission. No sequential, no Lenkos etc.
- Any kind / any type single pair of 28.10.5/275 due to tire selection and availability for you guys. If you got the balls to drive on them, then you can race on them!
- Factory appearing interior: carpet, dash, trim panels, minimum of two seats that are securely fastened to the floor. (Aftermarket seats such as kirkeys are permitted.) Rear Seat Deletes are permitted.

- Any combination All Wheel Drive / 4-Wheel Drive Permitted, No 2WD Drivetrain permitted.
- Any chassis type permitted
- PYOP (Pour your own puddle) traction compound only, absolutely no water! If you are found using water, you will be disqualified! NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Any wheel and tire combination permitted.
Small Tire Class:
No pre lock-in. Show up and race.
Small Tire Class Buy-in:
$100.00 + Tech Card

Small Tire Class Rules:
MEASURED TIRE SIZE , Single Pair of 28x10.50/15 NON-W, 275/60/15, OR SMALLER.
-Wheelie bars ARE NOT permitted.
BODY PANELS
-Roof and 1/4 panels MUST be of factory origin (unless sunroofs/t-tops panels have been replaced due to safety) Other than that, the rest is on you. Aftermarket doors, front end, hoods, hatches, trunk lids etc., are acceptable.
-NO AWD
-Lexan replacement glass is acceptable.
-In regards to headlights and tail lights. We do not require them to be factory, however we do require at least ONE working headlight, and ONE working tail light. This is a safety requirement, and will be enforced.
DRIVER AND VEHICLE SAFETY
-Helmets and Racing Suits are REQUIRED. No Questions. If you attempt to make a pass without the proper safety equipment in place, you will be asked to find some. If it happens again, you will be told to leave.
-We encourage all racers to have a parachute, however this is not a requirement.

---THIS EVENT IS STRAIGHT OFF THE TRAILER---. If you are participating, you are not permitted to make test passes prior to the first round on the day of the event at Quaker City Motorsports Park!!! Also, no test passes are permitted if you are still in competition.
If you Jump, you lose. If you cross the centerline, you lose. In the event that you both cross, whoever crossed first loses.
