Childhood in the Shadow of Poverty
The evening will feature a panel of local leaders who work directly with Salem children and will be moderated by Sue Gabriel, CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salem.

· Eric Mitchell, Executive Director, Pathways for Children
· Sarah Roy, Director of the Salem Children’s Alliance.
While the event is free, attendees are encouraged to bring diapers of any size for distribution by Mamas Unidas of Salem.
The Samaritans partner with more than 50 social service organizations to support Salem residents facing a financial crisis. Operating continuously since 1832, the Samaritans is an all-volunteer organization and has no religious affiliation or association with suicide prevention. Without an office or paid staff, all funds raised go directly to assisting Salem neighbors in need.
