About the event

Lecture with Richard Deitering
Richard received his start in archaeology in 2016 working with Dr. Gabrielle Barkay at the Temple Mount Sifting project, while studying Semitic languages including ancient Hebrew, proto-Hebrew, Ugarit, Ge’ez, Sumar-Akkadian, Babylonian, Aramaic and Assyrian. He expanded his language studies to include Classical Greek, koine Greek and proto-Greek (Linear Scripts A and B) and Egyptian Pictographs and Hieroglyphics and Latin, while all the time studying for his Master of Theological Studies at Moody institute, learning the cultures, faiths, and an anthropological understanding of the peoples of the Ancient Near East.

His love for Ancient Near East histories led him on a journey through the bronze ages of the Mediterranean area and the trade routes of the Minoan People. This led him to the discovery that these Sea fairing people were trading far beyond the Mediterranean, well inland into Asia, into Europe and eventually into the Americas.

It was in 2016 that Richard started noticing commonalities in artifacts and sites throughout the world, so many of them that it excluded the possibilities of coincidence, so much so that he is forcing the discussion of diffusionism, acculturation, and simultaneous invention needs to be reopened.

This has become the topic of Richards dissertation, and what started this journey of discovery, and a study of passion all started over a discussion of discoveries in beautiful northern Michigan. That has had archaeologists, anthropologists and historians arguing over their meanings. Richard's hope is to present his findings and have the attendees of his lectures consider the possibility that there have been visitors to the Americas before Columbus.

The difficulties to the argument of earlier Trans-Atlantic trips to our shores lies not in the forged artifacts that have been foisted on the communities over the years, the real difficulty lies in the facts that there is representation of many different ancient cultures being represented in many legitimate artifacts found in this country. Many of these cultures did not have sea fairing abilities.

Richard Deitering has provided an acceptable and logical answer to the prior concerns, including answering how the forgeries have caused great damage to the field of archaeology and at the same time has caused such scrutiny on other artifacts that the legitimacy of those artifacts must be considered valid.

Please Join this impassioned archaeologist as he opens doors to new possibilities to the advancement of the cultures of our prehistoric continent that will surely cause you to re-look at history. The East Coast has provided so much evidence to the ancient people of the sea visiting, that sites like America's Stonehenge deserve a much closer look at the involvement of ancient civilizations visiting our shorelines. This lecture will provide comparisons to structures on both sides of the Atlantic that will end all doubt that it is all just a coincidence.
