Hello and Welcome!
For those of you who don’t know me…
My name is Keeley van Ekeren.
I am a 23 Year old local Sale girl born and raised!
I myself am someone who struggles daily with Mental Health and want to raise awareness for those who struggle themselves, have family and friends who struggle or have lost loved ones from suffering with Mental Health.
I have decided to show my support and Awareness by joining Life Line for their Annual ‘Out of The Shadow's’ walk.
On Wednesday September the 10th I ask anyone and everyone to please put their runners on and join me on a 9km walk for the 9 lives lost each day to suicide and to help prevent people from taking their lives due to their struggles.
Whether there’s Rain, Hail or Shine, Walking is such a great strategy for reducing Anxiety and Depression but with such a large walk like this it can bring the community together. It can help start a conversation that you may have found too hard to start. It may show you that you or your loved ones are not alone and there are many ways to get the help you need.
If you are unable to attend this event, that’s okay as there will be a link that you can click to help donate and raise money for those in need.
Just remember every step and every dollar can make such a difference to those who are struggling each day with Mental Health!
