Exhibition - Beings From The Bestiary

On 7th December, The Grist opens its doors for its second exhibition, Beings from the Bestiary. This show brings together works on paper by Maltese and international artists who use drawing and print to explore creatures in unexpected ways. Some pieces look closely at the animal world. Others imagine beings shaped by memory, instinct and invention.

The works are presented as encounters rather than definitions. Each one sits somewhere between what we recognise and what we can only guess at. Visitors are invited to move through the exhibition at their own pace and spend time with whichever beings draw them in.
