Jason Trobec Memorial

We invite you to join us for a memorial gathering in honor of Jason.

This event will have an Oktoberfest theme, inspired by Jason’s trip to Germany the year before his passing. Jason and Gretchen attended Oktoberfest with his parents and one of his daughters, staying with dear family friends. That trip was very meaningful to him—he returned with his special Oktoberfest hat and began nightly German lessons, hoping to one day return.

There will be an Oktoberfest-style meal (freewill donation) and a cash bar. We’ll also provide a space for written memories, shared tributes, and spoken remembrances.

Two days later, there will also be a memorial ATV ride on the anniversary of Jason’s passing for those who wish to honor him in that way. Anyone who wants to join is welcome.

This memorial is meant to reflect what Jason valued most: bringing people together with kindness, love, and connection.
