Fra Sands is a sensitive Irish singer-songwriter from County Down, Ireland. Coming from the renowned Sands Family — one of Ireland’s best-loved musical families — Fra carries forward a legacy of powerful storytelling through music

With a calming voice and meaningful songs, Fra’s music speaks to the heart. A skilled guitarist and performer, he has toured extensively across Europe and beyond, appearing on stages in London, Denmark, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany and Canada.

As a member of the close-harmony family quartet Na Leanai, the next generation of the Sands Family, Fra continues to weave tradition with contemporary folk influences. Known for his gentle presence and soulful collaborations, he has worked with artists from around the world and performed everywhere from intimate folk clubs to world-class festivals.
